We were beaten 3-2 by Borussia Dortmund in the Emirates Cup on Sunday afternoon. Samuele Inacio fired the visitors into an early lead and, despite our best efforts to find an equaliser, Konstantino Karetsas got Dortmund’s second. Ethan Nwaneri pulled one back early in the second half with Christos Tzolis getting another assist - his third goal contribution in as many matches. But Dortmund restored their two-goal lead shortly after by way of Joane Gadou, only for Viktor Gyokeres to reduce the arrears from the penalty spot.
